Wan 3.0 raised the 1080P rate, and a promotion is hiding it until 24 September
Alibaba lists 1080P on wan3.0-video at $0.20 per output second against $0.15 on wan2.5-t2v-preview. It is the first increase in that tier across three generations, and a 30% launch discount masks it until 2026-09-24.
This is a note rather than a release: nothing on the site changed because of it except the pages that had to be corrected. It is here because we could not find anybody else who had written it down.

480P and 720P held. 1080P went up by a third. Across Wan 2.2, 2.5 and 3.0 that is the first time a resolution tier has cost more in a newer generation.
Why nobody is quoting it
A 30% launch promotion is running on wan3.0-video, which puts the effective
1080P rate under the old list price. So every article written since launch is
quoting a number that expires. The promotion ends 2026-09-24, and on that
date the gap between the standard tier and Prime moves from roughly 2x to
roughly 1.4x.
We went looking for this because a nine-query citation probe on the same day
found wan 3.0 vs wan 2.5 answered with no third-party source at all — the
only query in the set where the citable field was completely empty.
What we corrected
The comparison posts and the specification page now quote the list price and name the promotion and its end date separately, rather than quoting the promotional figure as though it were the rate.
