One thing this table is not doing: comparing our price to Alibaba’s per-second rate. Those are different units. The API sells raw seconds to someone who will write the code, handle the 24-hour link expiry, catch the invalid parameter combinations and build the queue. The middle column and this one sell a finished clip. Comparing the two numbers directly is how people end up surprised in both directions.

Length.
Wan 3.0 bills per second of output, rounded up to the whole second.
Resolution.
720P is double 480P; 1080P is double 720P. Same model at every tier.
Reference video seconds.
Its seconds are billed at your output rate. Ten seconds of output with five seconds of reference is fifteen billed seconds. This is the one that surprises people.
Variants.
Four variants cost four times one. There is no bulk discount inside a single request.
Model tier.
The fast tier costs half again as much per second.

Audio.
On or off, identical price. There is no money to be saved by generating a silent Wan 3.0 clip.
Aspect ratio.
Vertical costs the same as landscape.
Prompt length.
Twenty thousand characters costs the same as twenty words.
One more, because it is the sharpest edge in the category: smart duration, where the model picks the length, cannot be quoted before it runs. A per-second rate describes one Wan 3.0 generation. Nobody ships one generation. The clip you publish is the third or fourth attempt, and whether the first three cost you anything is the entire question.
